Escribiendo estas novelas bajo ese nombre, han pasado escritores como Mel Odom, Victor Milan, Jon Merz, Michele Hauf, Jean Rabe, y Joseph Nassise, apareciendo como tales en los creditos interiores de cada novela. Es, ademas, la heredera de la espada mistica de Juana de Arco, estaba presente cuando se encontro el ultimo fragmento de la espada -que se hiciera pedazos cuando quemaron a Juana en la hoguera-, y estaba presente cuando se recompuso, quedando magicamente atada a ella. Tiene la capacidad de hacer desaparecer la espada, y de llamarla cuando la necesita. Solo ella puede tocarla, solo sirve a Annja, y la proteje aumentando su resistencia y su capacidad curativa.
Al poseer esta espada, se ha convertido en un Campeon, en alguien cuyo destino esta ligado estrechamente a la lucha contra la oscuridad que siempre esta al acecho.
Dicho asi, no parecen que sean nada originales, la verdad... pero resultan historias interesantes, con sus viajes y sus misterios. Es curioso que, siendo una serie de novelas tan extensa, no haya sido publicada todavia al castellano, cuando otras parecidas si lo han sido, como puede ser la saga de Anita Blake de Laurell K. Hamilton, o la saga de Rachel Morgan, de Kim Harrison, que tienen muchisimos mas componentes sobrenaturales que la saga que nos ocupa. Comentar que dispone tambien de una pequeña adaptacion al comic de la mano de IDW Publishing.
